The inshore bite in and around Folly Beach has heated up. Solid numbers of redfish, flounder, seatrout, ladyfish, and sharks are being caught. Popping corks with about 3 ft leaders to a jighead with  live shrimp or mud minnows have been the ticket when fishing high moving water. Carolina rigs using 1/4 to 1/2 oz lead with a circle hook and live shrimp and mud minnows have been producing when needing to drop back and fish a little deeper off the bank on lower tides. For sharks at all tides, cut blue crab and live menhaden on carolina rigs have been producing. The bite has been hot and steady and keeping everyone busy. The summer is not over and if you are looking to get out on the water for a great day of “catching”, give us a call. 843-412-6811
